Kitteneer and the
Blooping Farting Clownfish

It’s okay to be scared — and it’s okay to laugh again
Spread 1

Kitteneer’s dream woke her up with a squeak.
Same yucky nightmare she’d had the whole week.

Stretched out her big paws and purred with a yawn.
“Please, no more eels!” she meowed to the dawn.

Spread 2

She tiptoed carefully along the seashore.
“I don’t want to go too deep anymore!”

Suddenly SPLASH! came a cute funny sound.
She put on her mask and looked all around.

Spread 3

BOING! went her nose on an orangey thing.
It BLOOPED out a fart like it wanted to sing.

Spread 4

“Little cat over there! Come and chase me!”
squawked a strange little fish that looked like a bee.

He did a bad cartwheel, then bowed up and down.
“Welcome, dear audience! I’m the clown of this town!

The coral’s my circus, the seaweed’s my tent.
Every day’s showtime, and I’m the main event!”

Spread 5

He twirled on a rock and spun on his head.
Then wiggled and farted. “Bloop!” was all he said.

Spread 6

He juggled three fart bubbles, “Ha! Look at me!”
Then vanished like magic, deep down in the sea.

Spread 7

Kitteneer giggled. Then let out a shriek.
Her fluffy round tail just laughed for a week.

The fish was so silly, so noisy, so bright.
The funniest, giggliest fish in her sight.

She tried juggling bubbles, but they all popped—
on her nose, on her paws, till the bubbles all stopped.

Spread 8

Another fart bounced right off Pufferfish Mum.
She cried, “Baby Puff!” But no one would come.

There he was trembling, above a big rock.
Then POOF! He blew up with a great giant PLOP!

“Our baby’s gone puffing!” Mum cried in a fright.
The baby fish puffed up and bounced out of sight!

Spread 9

He bounced off Kitteneer, to her weirdest surprise…
And both Puff and Kitteneer ended with cross-eyes!

Spread 10

Then every new fright made him puff up some more,
as he floated up higher than ever before.

The seahorses tugged. The crabs grabbed a fin.
But Puff just kept bouncing in his pufferfish spin.

Spread 11

Bloop wiggled his bottom.
“Stand back!” came his cry.
“I’ve got a funny idea, let me try!”

BLOOP! went a bubble.
Pfffft! went his bum.
Baby Puff giggled,
“Your fart tickled my tum!”

Spread 12

He floated down lower with every big fart,
like a balloon that was hit by a very sharp dart!

“It’s working!” cheered Mum.
Kitteneer clapped her paws.
Pufferfish Mum cried,
“Please fart some more!”

Spread 13

“Um… so sorry, everyone… I gave you a fright!”
Mum pulled him close and held him tight.

“You’re just learning,” she said.
“One day you’ll control your exploding head.”

Baby Puff giggled.
Bloop smiled at Mum.
“Just tell me when you need my bloop farting bum!”

Spread 14

“Whoa!” laughed Kitteneer, blowing bubbles—
POP POP POP!

“Your name must be Bloop as your farts never stop!”

“Yep! You can say that I’m silly and loud.
I just love blooping in front of a crowd!”

Laughing Together Under the Same Sea

They played hide-and-seek as day turned to night,
till the last orange sunbeam slipped out of sight.

Good friends make you giggle and have a fun day.
They bubble up joy in their own bloopy way.

Blooping and farting! How fun it can be!
It’s so much more fun with good friends in the sea.

Being YOU-nique
is the best way to be…

I’m happy you’re you,
and I’m happy I’m me!
